Project CHD NET
The non-for-profit organization Jihočeská rozvojová o.p.s. has become a successful applicant with the project called “CHD NET" in the Operational Programme 'Austria - Czech Republic' - Programme under the European Territorial Cooperation Objective 2007 - 2013, priority axis 1 - Socio-economic development, tourism and transfer of know-how.
This project is funded by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund The main purpose of the CHD NET project is to develop cross-border cooperation on the protected labor market and to support employment of handicapped persons, with an implementation period of 20 months.
The main objectives of the project include:
- support of protected workshops and employers of handicapped persons in the South Bohemian region and Upper Austria,
- support and mutual cooperation between protected workshops and employers of handicapped persons in the South Bohemian region and Upper Austria,
- sharing the experience and know-how in respect to integration of handicapped persons into the society and on the labor market in the Czech Republic and Austria,
- increasing the awareness among the general public about the system of employment of the handicapped in the Czech Republic and Austria.
The above-mentioned objectives will be met through the following activities:
- development of a study of legislative and system conditions for integration of handicapped persons in the Czech Republic and Austria,
- creation of an Internet portal,
- development of a catalogue of protected workshops and employers of handicapped persons in the South Bohemian region and Upper Austria,
- exhibition of products and service provided by protected workshops and protected workplaces in the South Bohemian region and Upper Austria,
- organization of a professional workshop and final conference
